Checkout and purchases

Payments are one-time USD payments through Stripe-hosted Checkout. There is no automatic renewal or subscription.

Donations support Focus on Foundations. A donation does not grant account credits or change an account allowance.

Credit purchases add a site-wide allowance for supported paid features, including cost-incurring AI API calls. A first credit purchase replaces any unused starter allowance; later credit purchases add to the purchased allowance.

Temporary reservations can reduce available credit while paid work is in progress. The account ledger records the actual cost after the work finishes.

Payment data

Stripe receives card and contact information directly in Checkout. When you are signed in, we may prefill a trusted account email in Checkout.

Focus on Foundations stores payment amount, payment status, opaque Stripe identifiers, and account-ledger records including credits, holds, reservations, and audit information. We do not receive or store card numbers.

Limited billing, ledger, and audit records may remain after account deletion where needed for payment, accounting, security, or support records.
