The guardian creator is the adult who first made this family. They cannot leave while a child is still in the family. Other guardians are invited and can leave even while children remain. A child has a sign-in that the guardians manage. A tutor is an optional adult granted learning-tool access to specific children and optionally the granting guardian. Rename family This name appears on family tools and tutor invites. It does not change anyone’s sign-in. Open this item, type the name you want, and save. You can change it again later.
Add a child account A child account is a sign-in you create and manage. Their email must be a plus-address of yours (for example youremail+kidname@domain.com), so codes come to your inbox. Open this item, enter the child’s name, plus-address, and password, and confirm consent. If this guardian account already has standing consent, the child is created on that attestation. If standing consent is missing, we email a confirmation code first.
Child’s data & settings This is each child’s learning data and which tools they can use. Your own account data stays on Your account. Open this item, choose a child, then review progress or change tool access. Use it after you have added at least one child.
Guardian verification Guardian verification proves you are an adult. You only need it before a tutor can see a child’s data — not to add a child or another guardian. Choose the children to cover and a method, then start. A new verification replaces the last one; only the children you select this time stay covered.
Invite a tutor A tutor is optional. That person sees only the children you grant, with the same learning-tool access as a guardian. Complete guardian verification for those children first. Then enter the tutor’s email, confirm the disclosure, and send the invite. They get a link that is valid for 7 days.
Invite another guardian Another guardian is an adult who shares this family with you — they can help manage children and family tools. Enter their email and send. They get a link that is valid for 7 days, not a pasteable code. Ask them to use that emailed link to join.

Leave family Extra guardians can leave this family and keep their own individual account. The family creator cannot leave the family account if it contains children. Open this item and confirm if you want to leave. You will need a new invite to come back. If you are the only guardian, delete child accounts first.
